Leest is an App that helps anyone best answer “What should I do next?” at any point in time.

Our purpose

We are building Leest because we believe that by helping people make better decisions about the things they do everyday, we can help them get better outcomes on the things they care about most and great things can unexpectedly happen around them and within their families and communities too.

What we do

We use rapid prototyping, design thinking, curiosity, creativity, and the latest tools and technologies to look for new and better ways to help people make good decisions on the things they do everyday. For example, our latest release includes the use of sophisticated AI to follow-up on habits, an innovative way to build a to-do list by shortlisting tasks from a personal task library, automatically stamping tasks with emojis, and a unified library to handle short, mid, and long-term intentions (eg. tasks, goals, and habits) in the same place.

Who we are

We are a bunch of seriously passionate craftspeople with good intentions and the desire to do a greater good in the world. While some are strategically more involved than others, and most prefer to remain anonymous, our founder, Mau, has been formally driving the design, development, and distribution of Leest over the last year.

“I started builiding Leest when I saw my life suddenly change as a result of goal setting and accountability with a life coach. I figured that everyone could benefit from the pursuit of well-defined goals, but that not everyone had access to a life coach. I then thought that my background in technology could help me build something that made it easier for everyone to set and stick to their goals so that their lives could get better for them—like mine did.

While in my hometown, Mexico City, and during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, I signed up to an online prototyping class and I was accepted into the Innosuisse program for business creation, so I packed my bags and became a digital nomad in Switzerland while I worked on the first product.

Three failed Apps later, I moved to Switzerland with my love partner (whom I met while traveling), and I started working on a new App that would not only help people stick to their goals, and habits, but also with making daily plans out from a big list of intentions, this App became Leest.”

Where we are?

We are distributed all over the world—from Tokyo to Seattle.

Mau lives in the Swiss town of Neuchâtel and he often travels to Mexico City. He wants to grow Leest into a remote-first, location-independent, and flexible organization where talented people can contribute, thrive, and benefit from anywhere and in their preferred working environment.
